ENRICHING EXPERIENCES
By partnering with agencies that have the skills, resources and experience to effectively implement a broad range of enriching experiences, we are able to engage our youth in a wide diversity of cultural, artistic, social, physical and leadership development enrichment activities. Past and current partners and activities in this endeavor include JFK Natatorium, West End Performing Arts Center, AYFA (Atlanta Youth Fitness Alliance), Hands on Atlanta, The Art of Boxing Studio, Soccer in the Streets and yoga instruction.
VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
Our Community Change Agents program engages student volunteers from the Atlanta University Center and other universities and colleges to serve as mentors, academic coaches and chaperones for field trips and activities. Volunteers are provided with ongoing leadership training and opportunities to volunteer for key positions that also provide them with tangible skills to support their own career development. They serve as agents of change in the lives of our youth by supporting them at home, school and in the community.

FAMILY HOLIDAY POTLUCK
An annual gathering of RE children, their families, volunteers and staff to celebrate the holidays and spend some time together outside of the classroom.
VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION DINNER
Our annual appreciation and awards dinner recognizing some of the finest volunteers and mentors who’ve worked with us as academic coaches over the past calendar year.
