20th Year Celebration Campaign

At Raising Expectations, we deal in possibilities, and we have done so for 20 years. While many of the students we serve face challenges in their daily lives, we help them develop the resilience to move beyond obstacles and self-doubt because we know they can and will. We know each child we serve has promise. The potential of our students is infinite. With support, exposure, education and opportunities, our participants soar, excelling in both school and life. The more than 1,800 children we have worked with over the past two decades are a testament to that belief. And, the power of our community of friends and supporters is what has made our work and the successes of our students possible, and will enable Raising Expectations to make a difference in the lives of Atlanta’s children for years to come.

As we celebrate 20 years of service to the community and look to the future, we invite the many volunteers, donors, community partners and program alumni of the Raising Expectations family to give a financial gift. Your investments will support Raising Expectations’ effective programs for youth living on Atlanta’s Westside, and our continued support of our participants who have matriculated to college and careers.

We are looking forward to a vibrant and strong future for Raising Expectations. Our goals include supporting the development of a collaborative educational strategy that will magnify the impact to improve outcomes for youth, providing additional training opportunities for youth providers as a means of securing resources to support ongoing programs, and securing a facility that will enable Raising Expectations to develop a state-of-the-art Expanded Learning Center for youth 12-23 years of age.
